APPLY Group was created as a result of a merger involving Teknisk Bureau, Maritime systems, North Sea Innovation and Asator. By uniting the expertise in these four companies, who all hold strong positions in their respective markets, Apply will compete for significant technology projects in the petroleum industry, the maritime sector as well as land-based industry, and construction. The company, with its head office in Stavanger, has close to 1000 employees and a turnover of over one billion Norwegian kroner. In October 2009 Apply as was incorporated into the group of companies known as Apply Group which also encompasses Apply Sørco, Apply Leirvik, Apply Leirvik Emtunga, Apply Leirvik Reanco, and Apply Capnor. Apply Group is also a co-owner in Nemo Engineering, Well Processing and Haatech. Apply Group has an annual turnover of 3.1 billion Norwegian kroner and has about 1750 employees in total, of which more than 700 work in engineering and project management.
